"Attention to detail was everything on this project," says
Kevin Key, Owner, Key Residential, Ltd.

This retreat house in Dallas, TX, offers groups a place for conferences and other
meetings and provides individuals with a place for solitude and spiritual reflection.
Originially, the utilitarian conference and classroom featured high-traffic carpet,
florescent lighting, and generic blinds. Key Residential created a dedicated library
for secluded conversation, quiet reading, and isloated reflection, with the over-all
goal to supply a timeless setting that would look as good 100 hundred years from
now as it would on the first day of completion.

Preston Hollow "Dream Study"

In this residential office renovation, Key Residential, in conjunction with Pat Ratcliff,
designer, focused on building a masculine “dream study.” The client requested
we conceive a functional room, accommodating items such as a rolling library ladder,
an existing antique desk, a flat screen television, and his wish to smoke cigars
without affecting the rest of the home. We transformed the original home office
from a 230-square-foot room into a “man cave” with a hidden closet for files,
a wet bar, and a single-room ventilation system.
